Troubleshooting and returning goods
If you have an issue with any Güralp product, please send an email to our support team at support@guralp.com, filling out as much as possible of the following form (you may paste this into your email):
Problem item, ID, and Works Order#: (e.g. CMG-3T -- T314 WO 3175, or DM24 -- D0939 WO 2888.) Attached instrumentation and IDs: Firmware versions used by items: (Shown on terminal re-boot and status streams). Detailed description of use and location of instrument before fault developed: Detailed description of fault: Detailed description of what, if any, steps have already been taken in trying to resolve the issue: PLEASE ATTACH TO THIS E MAIL GCF FILES OF A LONG PERIOD OF TIME WITH ALL VELOCITY OUTPUTS, MASS POSITIONS, AND STATUS STREAMS. IF APPRORIATE ALSO ATTACH TERMINAL OUTPUTS FROM THE DIGITISER AND DCM, AND /log/messages FROM THE DCM AS WELL. Detailed description of the circumstances of the recording of the above attachments — conditions, instruments etc.
